Governmnet introduces new Bharat registration series for vehicle
A vehicle with BH mark will not require a new registration mark when the owner shifts from one State to another. This facility will be available on a voluntary basis to Defence personnel, employees of Central & State Govt; Central and State PSUs; and private sector companies having their offices in 4 or more States/UTs.

MHA extends Covid guidelines till Sept 30

Las Vegas breaks record In July with $794 million In Gambling Revenue
It was a very good July for Las Vegas. Nevada collected $794 million in gambling revenue from casinos on The Strip last month, the highest all-time win total for the state, according to revenue numbers published by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. July posted a 46% increase compared to pre-pandemic revenue in July 2019.

Haryana farmers block highways after police lathicharge in Karnal
Violence between police and protesting farmers in Haryana broke out on Saturday. The former tried to reach Karnal city to protest against a state-level BJP meeting chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on holding local bodies elections. At least 10 protesters were injured when they were lathicharged by the police to stop and disperse as they were forcing their way towards Karnal.

80% of Mumbai's Nariman Point will go underwater by 2050

350 women-only autos to soon roll out in Ghaziabad, Noida
The regional transport authority has decided to rope in 350 pink autos and is in the process of finalizing 20 points in Noida and eight such points in Ghaziabad from where these vehicles will ply exclusively for women commuters. The initiative has been taken on the directions of Surendra Singh, divisional commissioner (Meerut), who is also the chairperson of the RTA.
