Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Browne confirmed that a private jet from India arrived at Dominica's Douglas-Charles Airport as Indian fugitive Mehul Choksi continues to be in a quarantine facility in Dominica. On Saturday, the first photos of the multi-crore PNB scam-accused were released where he could be seen behind bars, with a swollen eye and bruises on his arm.

Ramdev said that he would 'convert' 1,000 allopathic doctors to Ayurveda
While addressing a camp, Baba Ramdev said that he aims at converting 1000s of allopathy doctors to Ayurveda in a year. Baba also mounted an attack on the reliability of allopathy, saying that it is a science that is adept at conducting surgeries and making life-saving drugs but for other illnesses like blood pressure, tension, sugar, etc., people always turn to Ayurved for relief. While prescribing Surya namaskar and yoga as a cure for black fungus and as an immunity booster for children, Ramdev went on to say that no research has been done on the allopathic medicines prescribed to the Covid-19 patients.

The unlock process starts in Uttar Pradesh
UP government announced relaxations in the ongoing ‘Corona Curfew’ across 55 districts where the number of active coronavirus cases has fallen below the 600-mark from June 1. However, the lockdown will continue in 20 districts, including state capital Lucknow, Noida and Greater Noida that fall under the Gautam Buddha Nagar district and Ghaziabad.

UK PM Boris Johnson marries fiancee in a secret ceremony
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds got married in a small private ceremony in London at his Downing Street office. Johnson, 56, and 33-year-old Symonds, an environmental advocate, announced their engagement in February 2020 and have a 1-year-old son named Wilfred. The last British prime minister to marry in office was Lord Liverpool in 1822.

North Korea 'Bans skinny jeans, piercings' in 'War on capitalistic lifestyle'
The secretive Asian nation has reportedly instituted a ban on Western fashion trends, including mullets, certain body piercings, and skinny jeans in a self-proclaimed "war on capitalism."It comes after North Korea's state-run newspaper, Rodong Sinmum, published a warning earlier this month saying capitalism needed to be prevented from "seeping" into the country.
The newspaper published an article expressing concern about young North Koreans increasingly embracing Western fashion trends.

61 earthquakes hit Congo after the volcanic eruption
The Democratic Republic of Congo was hit with 61 earthquakes within 24 hours on Saturday, a week after the Mount Nyiragongo volcano erupted for the first time in nearly 20 years. The eruption last week from the volcano, which is located about nine miles north of Goma, has led to a series of earthquakes and tremors felt throughout the region, including as far as the Rwandan capital of Kigali.
