24 lakh online child sexual abuse cases were reported in India from 2017 to 2020
According to Interpol, an estimated 24 lakh online child sexual abuse instances were reported in India from 2017 to 2020. 80% of these children were girls under the age of 14. The content and consumers of child pornography have also been growing at a sharp rate, with over 1,16,000 searches made every day.

IAF Mi-17 crash lands in Arunachal Pradesh
An Indian Air Force Mi-17 helicopter crash-landed in the Lohit sector in eastern Arunachal Pradesh, after a technical snag, while carrying out an air maintenance mission. Two pilots and three crew members on board are safe, with just minor injuries. A court of inquiry will be ordered to investigate the reasons behind the crash.

Rafale jets delivery to be completed by April 2022
The French Ambassador Emmanuel Lenain said that the 6 remaining Rafale jets will be handed over by April 2022. 30 Rafale fighter jets manufactured by the French firm Dassault Aviation have already been delivered to India so far as part of an inter-governmental agreement signed 5 years ago. The first batch of 5 Rafale jets arrived in India on July 29 last year.

Austria reimposes lockdown from Monday, 1st in West Europe as cases soar

Google collaborates with CoWIN
At the Google for India 2021 event on November 18, Google announced plans to work with CoWIN to integrate an end-to-end COVID-19 vaccination booking flow via Google Assistant in eight Indian languages. Google has also revamped its Search that will allow users to get results in their preferred languages. This feature will be available early next year.
