NASA begins testing electric air taxi
NASA has begun flight testing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with Joby Aviation for air taxi services under its Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign. The testing will continue till September 10, Friday, at Joby's Electric Flight Base located near Big Sur, California. This is the first time NASA is testing an eVTOL aircraft as part of the AAM National Campaign.

Biden orders release of secret 9/11 documents
US President Joe Biden on Friday ordered declassification over the next six months of still-secret documents from the government investigation into the 9/11 terrorist attacks. "When I ran for president, I made a commitment to ensuring transparency regarding the declassification of documents on September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America," Biden said in a statement.

Mumbai: First district to administer 1 crore COVID vaccine doses
Mumbai became the first district in the country to reach the milestone of 1 crore COVID-19 vaccination mark. According to data uploaded on the CoWIN portal, Mumbai has administered vaccine doses to 1,00,63,497 people. Out of these, 72,75,134 have received the first dose, while 27,88,363 have got both.

Kerala surge: India’s active cases set to top 4 lakh after 25 days
Active cases are again close to the 4 lakh mark. India's count of active cases was last above 4 lakh on August 8. Thereafter, the number steadily dipped to a low of fewer than 3.2 lakhs on August 23 before rising again following the surge in Kerala. The state has 2.4 lakhs and active cases nearly 60% of the national total. The state has reported more than 2 lakh cases in the last 7 days.

India follows Constitution: Union Minister Naqvi to Taliban
